Day 22 - Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

I absolutely LOVE my slow cooker (crock pot)! It saves time & energy and the whole house smells sooo good!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Cook Time: 5 Hours

Ready In: 5 Hours 10 Minutes

Servings: 4

"Ultra creamy with cream cheese and cream soup, this crock pot dinner comes together quickly with the addition of chicken and Italian salad dressing mix."


4 skinless, boneless chicken breast

halves - cubed

1/8 cup margarine

1 (.7 ounce) package dry Italian-style

salad dressing mix

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream

of chicken soup



Put chicken, margarine and dressing mix in slow cooker; mix together and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.


Add cream cheese and soup, mix together and cook on high for another 1/2 hour or until heated through and warm. (

The only thing missing from this recipe is mushrooms! I would also like to add some frozen peas during the last 2 hours. To make this lower in fat, use reduced fat cream cheese & 1/2 the margarine.
