Today is my first day home alone. It's been nice except that I finally turned off my phone as work would NOT stop calling! They promised me a week and it hasn't even been 1 whole day!! It's nice to be wanted, but puleeze!!

I'm home now. I didn't get much sleep in the hospital so I'm going to catch up now. I'm doing okay, but not great - it's great to be in my own bed!!

I HAVE A DATE!

No, not THAT kind of date. I have a date for the surgery - September 19th. They'll do it bright & early (7am) & I will be in the hospital for a couple of days & then home. I'm excited & a little scared all at the same time.

Weight Loss Surgery

I had my 1st appointment with the surgeon this week. Dr. Suh (pronounced "Saw") seems very nice and everyone who has had him was VERY happy with him. Next week I am going to the required seminar Monday evening and on Thursday I have my required psych evaluation. It's a little scary and very exciting all at the same time. Thank goodness I have my very supportive family and my friends from Kaiser to help me through it all!
