Dessert Shooters



I love the idea of small servings for dessert! Here's 2 recipes, because they are so small.

S’mores Dessert Shooters

Prep Time: 15 Min

Total Time: 2 Hr 15 Min

Makes: 8 servings

INGREDIENTS:

2graham crackers, each separated into 4 small rectangles

2cups milk chocolate mousse (such as from 3.1 oz box of mix), prepared but not set up

8teaspoons marshmallow crème

Miniature semisweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

  • In bottom of each of 8 shot glasses, crumble 1 graham cracker rectangle.
  • Spoon chocolate mousse into decorating bag; pipe evenly into shot glasses. Refrigerate 2 hours, or as directed on mousse mix box, until set.
  • Before serving, top each with 1 teaspoon marshmallow crème and a few chocolate chips.

Chocolate-Almond-Whip Dessert Shooters

Prep Time: 15 Min

Total Time: 15 Min

Makes: 8 servings

INGREDIENTS:

1cup whipping cream

1/4cup powdered sugar

2tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa

1/4teaspoon almond extract

Slivered almonds, toasted

DIRECTIONS:

  • In small bowl, beat whipping cream, powdered sugar, cocoa and almond extract with electric mixer on low speed 1 minute. Scrape down sides of bowl. Beat on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
  • Spoon whipped chocolate mixture into decorating bag. Pipe mixture evenly into 8 shot glasses. Garnish with almonds. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
