Dominic's Directorial Debut

Friday night, May 23, 2008 was the directorial & acting debut of a future star, Dominic Charles Sparacio. In his first film, "Speed of A Bullet" we see the creativity and huge potential of this director. As an actor he offered some great thought-provoking moments, especially in his death scene. (I hope that I'm not giving too much away) I will offer a link to this amazing work as soon as it becomes available.

As his Mom I am completely a unbiased reviewer. (HaHaHaHaHa)

I LOVE YOU NIC!
---Again the color is whacked & I don't know why??? That's a red carpet he's walking on & his red shirt.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a very nice day. I made breakfast for Mom and it was wonderful! We had a spinach/sausage frittata, Danish ebelskivers (puffed, filled pancakes), mimosas and fresh raspberries & blackberries. I also gave the special pan to Mom as her present.

That evening we went to Robert & Maria's for a wonderful dinner. All & all, it's good to be a Mom!

Busy Doing What?

Honestly, nothing terribly exciting. (Boy do I need a LIFE or what???) Working, hanging around the house & stuff like that. Here's a couple of recipes that I did for a community cookbook. One section was salads & the other was crockpot. I don't know why the colors are so strange on the last one - the flowers are orange & yellow. To see the recipes up close just click on the picture.

Easter

Mia was working today and Dominic was with his dad, so they were greatly missed. Here's some pictures from the day.

Six-Month Surgiversary

On March 19th it was 6 months since my surgery. To date I have lost 68lbs and am down 4 sizes. I am extremely happy that I made that choice.

Dominic Joins the Work Force

Wow! I can't believe that my youngest started working today at his very 1st job! He's working - where else - at the Mother's store in Corona. He'll work about 4-10hrs a week. Mia started a new job this week too - she's at the Panera Bread in Corona, so no more 20 mile drive to work anymore!

Here's Nic after his first day - at this point he's just holding up the wall. (A little tired maybe?)
